By CASEY FERRAND (WTDN) - For the last week, street artists have been hand-painting a court-sized mural on the basketball courts at Guste Community park in New Orleans, Louisiana.

They used hundreds of gallons of paint and even a drone to get the mural just right. The mural was unveiled Wednesday, July 3, during the Essence Festival weekend, to hundreds of youth in the Central City area as part of AND1's Paint the Park initiative. Newest AND1 ambassador and NBA baller Montrezl Harrell was on-hand for the reveal and re-dedication. Walmart donated funds to help refurbish the court and donated sports equipment.

Organizers said they want the newly redesigned park to leave a lasting mark on the New Orleans community far beyond Essence Festival, and spark home-court pride for generations of young ballers to come.
